Copper Cathode

Industrial Salt

Industrial Salt

In the oil industry, salt is used to increase the density of mud and soil, which creates a more safe and efficient drilling rig. Although salt may not be used extensively in off-shore drilling, enormous amounts of salt are required to facilitate drilling on land. Pharmaceutical companies also use salt in the process of making capsules, as well as the production of saline solutions, which have widespread secondary uses. Saline solutions are not only useful for contact solution, but also for intravenous formulas. Salt use by the medical and pharmaceutical companies accounts for a large percentage of the total national industrial salt usage.

Of course, the majority of the world's industrial salt is used to deice roads and to create a safer driving surface, not only for the public, but for government use as well. Sixty to eighty percent of globally mined salt is used to improve the safety of public transit in one capacity or another, but usually to decrease the freezing point of snow and ice.

Salt is often spread on roads prior to inclement weather, allowing a surface layer of brine to provide further protection against ice.

Clinker

 

 CLINKER isknown as lumps or nodules, usually 3 mm (0.12 inch) to 25 mm (0.98 inch) in diameter, produced by sintering (fused together without melting to the point of liquefaction) limestone and aluminosilicate materials such as clay during the cement kiln stage.

 

Portland cement clinker is a dark grey nodular material made by heating ground limestone and clay at a temperature of about 1400 °C - 1500 °C. The nodules are ground up to a fine powder to produce cement, with a small amount of gypsum added to control the setting properties so Clinker is one step production before Cement and now is exported in huge quantity.

Gypsum

 

Gypsum is an evaporate mineral most commonly found in layered sedimentary deposits in association with halite, anhydrite, sulfur, calcite, and dolomite. It is calcium sulfate which has the chemical formula CaSO4.2H2O, a naturally occurring mineral or a raw material used mainly in the production of plasterboard and is also a key ingredient for producing cement. Due to having fire-resistant qualities, it has been the material of choice for building structures since ancient times.

 

 

OPC Cement

 

OPC Cement is a binder, a substance used for construction that sets, hardens and adheres to other materials, binding them together.

Ordinary Portland cement is seldom used on its own, but rather to bind sand and gravel (aggregate) together. Cement is used with fine aggregate to produce mortar for masonry, or with sand and gravel aggregates to produce concrete

white Portland cement

white Portland cement or white ordinary Portland cement (WOPC) is similar to ordinary, gray Portland cement in all aspects except for its high degree of whiteness. Obtaining this color requires substantial modification to the method of manufacture, and because of this, it is somewhat more expensive than the gray product. 

 

 

 

Copper tubes

Copper tubes have high resistance against corrosion. These tubes have excellent electrical and heat conductivity and good welding ability. They are applied for two main purposes: electrical and heat transfer.

These tubes are used for transferring heat between two fluids in sanitary, home and industrial systems and they are applied in water heaters and air conditioning systems (home and industrial) such as gas coolers and packages. They are used for making cable –show and electrical devices due to excellent electrical conductivity and formability. Hence choosing an appropriate copper tube can not only facilitate the electricity, but also save energy. Copper tubes are also used in medical gasification of hospitals and laboratories.

Copper tubes are made according to market demand in three types of TPC, DLP and DHP alloys.
